Kat is married and has one daughter, Dani Rose. She is originally from Arizona and grew up in New Hampshire. 

She moved to Germany at 18 to become a nanny. She learned German and attended university there. She received a bachelors degree in early childhood education and development. 

Kat loves to continue learning and has gotten further education training to became a Child Passenger Safety Technician and is able to help families from all walks of life to ensure their children are riding safely.
