Holly is our fearless leader and the great guru of all things Truecore. She’s a native Texan who ventured to sunny SoCal in her college days to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree from Pepperdine University and Master’s Degree in Psychology and Counseling from Loyola Marymount University. She discovered Pilates while on the West Coast and trained with Jasmine Sharp – the inventor of SHARP Method Pilates – for 7 years.
When she moved back to Texas to manage her family’s working ranch in beautiful Belton, Holly searched far and wide for a fun fitness experience that was both challenging and uplifting. She wanted a workout that would build both inner and outer strength.
Holly opened Truecore Fitness because she wanted to bring something new to her Central Texas home. She found that the most effective way to lengthen and strengthen muscles (and trick herself into doing cardio!) was a combination of high intensity Pilates and spin. Incorporating barre to her practice added a new dimension of flexibility, balance, and core strength.
Having worked in education for more than 15 years in both California and Texas, Holly has always enjoyed building one-on-one relationships with students. Truecore gives Holly the opportunity to combine that experience with her lifelong passion for personal fitness and getting to know clients individually. Holly is certified in SHARP Method Pilates, trained in the Bootybarre technique, and certified as a RealRyder instructor.
When she’s not teaching classes at Truecore you can find her on a tractor on the glorious fields of the Dickson Ranch. In the summer, she’ll be chasing the water and horizon with her daughter on Lake Belton. She powers through her busy days as a mom and business owner with the help of a little prayer, a grande Starbucks Americano, and the sound of laughter with friends over a glass of wine.
